What is a Life Group (LG)?
It’s a small group of people that is led by a trained leader who meet weekly to share, study and support one another. The average meeting time is 90 minutes.
When and Where Do They Meet?
Life Groups meet on various nights of the week in homes throughout the community and on-campus.
How Long Do They Last?
We run 3 quarters a year. Each quarter is between 7 and 9 weeks. Life Groups are on break from June through August. This time off gives you an opportunity to check out our Life Group labs.
What does the Commitment look like?
We are looking for you to commit to doing the message notes, aka “homework”, and attend the group meetings.
What Will We Study?
Our main focus is based message driven. At times there will be topical studies.
What Does It Cost?
No cost, with the exception of a few book groups. Ex. Financial Peace, Keys to Freedom, GriefShare etc.
Is There Childcare?
Heights Bayside Children’s ministry is available during all Life Group quarters for Wednesday evening on-campus groups only. Please check the sign-up sheet details regarding off-campus groups that are child-friendly or attend the next Turbo Training and run your own child-friendly group.
What is Turbo Training
It’s a quick hands-on training to prepare and equip you to lead your own group.
